"Discovery" is a limited edition etching commemorating the voyage from Spain and the discovery of the Americas 500 years ago. The image was pulled from a 12 x 10 1/2" copper plate and printed with a burnt rubine red ink on Moulin du Gue B.F.K. naturel paper (comprised of 15% linen and 85% rag) measuring 22 3/4 x 19 1/2'.
The edition was printed by master printer Esther Light at the Peter Max Atelier in New York City and is signed by the artist. It is an edition of 92 prints, 28 artist proofs, 10 hors du commerce, 2 archival prints. 2 museum prints, and I printer's proof. The "Discovery' edition is published by Peter Max.
